Empty Party

This is a very short adventure game made for the Signful game jam (deadline 23 September 2025) whose theme was: Party. Maybe the player is hosting a joyful celebration? Or maybe the player must journey to assemble a team for an epic adventure! Feel free to explore the theme in any direction, as long as your game follows the rules of this jam.

Prologue:

A deaf woman, with American sign language (ASL) as her mother tongue, enters an empty party, what will she do? ... 

Features:

* One short ASL animation (it will be updated with more ASL animations)

* More than 20 combinations

* More than 9 examinations

* A surprising end

Controls:

Mouse left-click on items -> start monologue.

E -> continue during monologue and dialogue. exit logues when it is done.

Space -> start thought monologue.

Mouse right-click -> combine one item with another item. (there is no inventory, so combine two items directly during gameplay)

Done in around 16 hours.

I wished to have complete ASL animations to all applicable sentences and add hand alphabets-related and sign language-related puzzles in this game, but unfortunately due to time pressure and costly high-quality pixelart sign language spritesheets. I hopefully can earn enough money someday to order them, and make this game complete.
